SERVICE

The St Thomas' congregation supports the following organisations:

St John's Home for Men
The Rector conducts a Eucharist service at St John's Home on the second Wednesday of each month at 10.30am.

Inala Parish Pantry
St Thomas' provides support of non-perishable food items to the Inala Parish Pantry, especially at times of great need such as during the 2011 flood and at Christmas time. It is important to the parishioners of St Thomas' to be community minded and support such organisations.

Anglican Board of Mission
ABM is the national mission agency of the Anglican Church of Australia. ABM works with Anglican Church Partners to develop and provide for the spiritual, social and material needs of people, both overseas and within indigenous communities in Australia. ABM helps the Anglican Church and the wider community to realise and respond to the call for each of us to be a part of God's hope for the world.

Bush Church Aid
BCA shares the gospel, builds up the church, and cares for people all around Australia. BCA Field Staff serve in regional and remote parts of Australia. Locals in these places are removed from cities, live in sparsely populated and often don't benefit from strong support networks of family and friends. Churches in these areas can struggle, ongoing fellowship can be hard to maintain, and encouragement can become a rarity. BCA in conjunction with the various Anglican Dioceses of Australia - places Field Staff, Co-Workers and Affiliates across the continent. Whether working as pastors, teachers, evangelists, chaplains or nurses, Field Staff bring evangelism, encouragement and ministry to people in all corners of the country.

Little Brothers of FrancisLittle Brothers of Francis is a community of Brothers who desire to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, manual work, community and times of being alone in their hermitages.

Ecumenical Social Justice Group - Western Suburbs
The Ecumenical Social Justice Group is a network of groups and individuals from parishes in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane who aim to raise awareness of social justice issues and to work to redress reconciliation, refugees and poverty issues. Membership of this group is drawn from the Christian Church communities of Brisbane's western suburbs and they seek to work together for Social Justice inspired by the social dimensions of the Gospels.

Mother's Union
Mother's Union Australia is part of the worldwide Mothers' Union, an international Christian organisation that seeks to support families worldwide.

St Mary's Home Today, Spiritus' St Mary's Support and Accommodation Program is a service for single pregnant and parenting women 16 to 25 years with children under four, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
